Rules and Regulations

Welcome to the second season of MMHC Fantasy League. We have reviewed all the rules and players to make this easier to follow and take part. As before, all the players listed are player who played for teams last year, their valuations have been based on last years performance, team their now play for and league the play in. I promise this will be more exciting that last year with multiple chances of winning during the season.

Anyone can register with the web-site so they can follow the league as their own performance. If you want to take part and enter a team into the league, then you need to pay the entry fee of £ 5 to Ben Day and then you should be able to select a team and have the opportunity to win a prize.

Hopefully we will get a even better response and raise even more money for the club. Tell friends and family to take part as well, and the more teams entered the better the competition.

The Games

The players and team

Each manager will have an overall budget of £ 50 million to spend on their team. Therefore it is wise to spend this money on a team who can get you the most points without relying on one or two expensive players.

The team you choose must consist of:
A goalkeeper
4 defenders
4 midfielders
2 attackers

To make it a bit more challenging, you must choose at least 2 lady players and no more than a maximum of 2 players from any one of the teams. For example, you can not choose Chris Eden, Jon Judge and Matt Snow as they all play from M1.

Scoring

Players earn points for every League match during the season that they play. Teams entered before the 30th September will earn points from the beginning of the season. Subsequent teams entered after this date will only earn points from that moment on.

Points are scored as follows:

All players

• 2 points for playing
• 2 extra points for winning
• -3 points for a green card
• -5 points for a yellow card
• -10 points for a red card

Goalkeeper

• 10 points for each goal scored/penalty flick save
• 5 points for a clean sheet
• -1 point for each goal conceded

Defender

• 6 points for each goal scored
• 5 points for a clean sheet
• -1 point for each goal conceded

Midfielder

• 4 points for each goal scored

Attacker

• 3 points for each goal scored

Transfers

Each team will get 2 free transfers per game. The transfer window will be open on Thursday and Friday each week. If you do not uses these transfers the end of the game then you will lose them. Over the Christmas period each manager will be given 4 free transfers and the transfer window will be open every day until the Friday before the first league match in January.

Entry

To enter the Fantasy League, you will need to register with the web-site. Then you will have to pay your entry fee of £ 5 to Ben Day. Only then will you be able to log on and select your team under the above rules.

Cost

The £ 5 entrance fee will cover the entry into the Fantasy League. If you only want to take part in 1 of these games, whether that is the first or second half of the season then the entry fee will be £ 2.50.

PLEASE NOTE, YOUR TEAM WILL MISS OUT ON VALUABLE POINTS UNTIL YOU PAY.

Prizes

The winner will receive cash prizes at the end of each game according to the number of teams in the league. Therefore the more teams that enter, the greater the prize. At the end of the league season all winners will be announced and publicised on the Club website.
